Working with windons XP is very easy, but you have to pay it. But linux is free. So I think if you dual-boot is a good alternative because it works in linux and have problems going to windons xp solve the problems and also is much more fun than in linux

I think we should use at least one of the Linux operating system because I think is very accessible.

My opinion is the following: you can download a linux live CD and experiment. If you like it you can install it in your computer. It’s free and easy to install!!

LINUX is a very good operational system…with hundred versions like UBUNTU, MANDRIVA,etc…it is free…so enjoy your LINUX

I think I should try the Linux operating system with Mandriva, and because I think one of the best linux operating systems. In a lesson I used a live CD with linux system and by chance I really liked. It’s better because of Mandriva to do many things. I advise to try the mandiva.

The choice of a operative system is a tricky one…
First of all you need to know what do you want from it! Linux has good advantages (such as being almost impermeable to virus) on the other hand it has many imcopatibilities with generic programs! If you’re a gamer you definitely should rely on Windows but if not, you should try Linux and explore all is possibilities!
As for the dual-boot question… If you install Linux first you shouln’t have a problem but if you do the opposite the system will crash!!! So try it…

Yes you should install Linux OS. Linux is a good alternative. You can try too a Dual-boot like you said with Linux and Windows XP but do not forget to make a disk partition. First install Linux on one partition and then install Windows XP on the another partition. Is it important you install Linus first and soo then Windows XP. So all work perfect.
